The beginning of a journey
The BOLD One was born from the vision of Giada Pignedoli, a jewelry designer.
Giada fell in love with jewelry-making at the age of 14 and went on to study as a goldsmith. After graduating, she moved to Lisbon and worked at Fashion Week. There, she discovered design in all its freedom. It was then that she had the idea to leave traditional jewelry-making behind and forge a new path.

Study and competitions
From Experimentation to Recognition
Giada studied jewelry design at the IED in Milan, immersing herself in the world of contemporary jewelry. She exhibited her creations in Padua, and shortly after, she won first prize in the “Calegaro 1921” competition. Other exhibitions followed, including “Gioielli in Fermento” (Restless Jewelry) in Piacenza in 2019. However, contemporary jewelry often appeals only to a niche audience. Thus, her career took a new direction.

A New Concept of Jewelry
Giada now works as a freelance designer for several companies in Milan and Zurich. Her main focus is combining contemporary jewelry with the elegance of fine jewelry, which is where The BOLD One stems from. This is where we have arrived for now. But only for now.
